The people’s Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of VII and VIII convocations, former first Deputy Chairman NAK “Naftogaz Ukraine”
Igor Vasyunyk was born 1 August 1969 in the village Velykyi Liubin ‘ Gorodotska district, Lviv region.
Higher education. Graduated from Lviv state University. Ivan Franko, Department of Economics (1992); Lviv Institute of management, specialty “management of organizations” (1998); Academy of public administration under the President of Ukraine on specialty “state management” (2007).
1992 – 1993 – after graduating from University, getting a higher education, starts career at Lviv confectionery firm “Svitoch”, in the position of “economist, division of foreign trade activities”;
From 1993 to 1995, he was transferred to OOO “SKV” where he occupies the position of CEO;
1995 – 1997 – works for a subsidiary company of “Ukra-Agra”, General Director;
1997 – 1998 joint venture company “Regional agricultural cooperative”, the Director-General.
1998 – 2002 – LLC “Ligure”, Director;
2002 – 2005 Lviv winery of the Ministry of agriculture and food of the Republic of Moldova, Director;
In 2005 Igor Vasyunyk became the chief of Department financially-technical supply and sale of products of its own in the NAC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” and later as first Deputy Chairman of the Board;
From 2007 to 2009 – Chairman of the Supervisory Board in LLC “Ukrkomplekt”;
2009 – 2010: State administration of railway transport of Ukraine (Ukrzaliznytsya), the representative of “Ukrzaliznitsa” in the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Department of cooperation with state Administrative bodies;
In 2010, he was Deputy head of production at the state enterprise “Administration of industrial enterprises of state administration of railway transport of Ukraine”.
In 2009, as the representative of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine starts to work in the “Ukrzaliznytsia”.
In 2010 Vasyunyk holds the post of Deputy head of Department production at the state enterprise “Administration of industrial enterprises”. In the same year moves to the position of Chairman of the Supervisory Board in LLC “Ukrkomplekt”, where in this capacity he worked until 2012.
Since 2012, goes to work in a public organization Lviv regional unit of social organization “Front Zmin” Deputy of the President.
November 2012 – people’s Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of VII convocation, elected on the majority district No. 117 on the list of the “Batkivshchyna” Deputy While on duty, worked in the Committee for nuclear safety issues, nuclear policy and fuel and energy complex.
November 2014 – people’s Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine VIII convocation. Passed in Parliament from the party “people’s front” at number 17.

• Member of the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on fuel and energy complex, nuclear policy and nuclear safety.
• Chairman of the Board of the charitable Foundation “Humanitarian initiatives”.
For many years, is the head of the charity Fund “Humanitarian initiatives”. On his initiative, the Charitable Foundation has implemented a variety of educational, artistic, scientific projects. A work carried out for the needy in the treatment and purchase of necessary medical equipment for hospitals.
In 2012 Igor Vasyunyk initiated a campaign in support of the Ukrainian language, in particular the all-Ukrainian campaign “We have a common language. The only state language”.
From August 2014 to this day by the initiative of I. Vasyunyk, Lviv the Center for legal assistance to participants ATO, which provides free legal advice to servicemen and members of their families. During the work the lawyers of the Centre provided advice to more than 2 thousand military from all over Ukraine.
In 2015, Igor Vasyunyk was a member of the public Council of the “Holy Yur”, which was engaged in the construction of the monument to Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky.
