Total public (direct and guaranteed) debt of Ukraine in January decreased by $ 200 million to 76.11 billion compared to the previous month.
This was reported on the official website of the Ministry of Finance.
As noted, public and publicly guaranteed debt at the end of January amounted to 2,132 trillion hryvnias, or of 76.11 billion against $ 2,141 billion UAH, or 76,31 billion a month earlier.
The total amount of direct debt as of January 31 amounted to 1,832 billion hryvnia (65,44 billion) against 1,833 trillion hryvnias, or 65,33 billion a month earlier.
The direct external debt for the month increased by 340 million to $ 38,83 billion dollars, while direct domestic debt decreased by 8.02 billion to 745,37 billion hryvnia (26,61 billion dollars).
Government guaranteed debt at 31 January was 298,90 billion hryvnias, or for 10.67 billion.
