Ukraine has sharply reduced gas imports to a minimum

Because of the warming in April, Ukraine has reduced imports of natural gas from Europe to a minimum.

On Monday, April 2, reports Interfax-Ukraine.

If in the last two days of March, the import of gas to Ukraine from the Slovak gas transmission operator Eustream amounted to 16.6 million cubic metres of gas per day, the first day of April he fell 13.8% to 1.2 million cubic meters.

According to PJSC Ukrtransgaz, in General, if gas imports to Ukraine of 31 March amounted to 30.8 million cubic meters (Slovakia is 16.6 million cubic meters, Hungary – 11.2 million cubic meters, Poland – 3 million cubic meters), on April 1, was made of only 5.1 million cubic meters of input power in the Ukrainian gas transport system to import (Slovakia – 1.2 million cubic meters, Hungary – 3.7 million cubic meters, Poland – 0.2 million cubic metres).

Such a sharp drop in gas imports traditionally means that the purchases have stopped, the largest player in this market in the face of Naftogaz of Ukraine.
