Ukraine has begun the shutdown of analogue television


The concern of broadcasting, radiocommunications and television in the night from 31 July to 1 August turned off the analog signal 13 TV channels in Kyiv and 14 TV channels in Kirovograd region.

Was turned off the transmitters of all TV channels with respect to which the national television made a decision on cancellation of analog licenses.

We are talking about: “1+1”, “inter”, ICTV, “Noviy Kanal”, “Ukraina”, STB, TET, NTN, M1, 5th channel , K1 and “Direct”. These channels can broadcast live using your digital license.

While still in Kiev and Kirovohrad region will continue to operate analog transmitters public television, and regional and local broadcasters who do not have a digital license. The timing will be disabled when they are in the concern are not known.

According to the previously approved decision of the government in the rest of Ukraine, the analog transmitters will have to disable the 31st of August.
