The General Prosecutor’s office sent to court indictment against the former head of the public security Department of the Ministry of interior, accused the management of the dispersal of the Maidan in 2014.

“In the Pechersk district court of Kyiv sent the indictment in criminal proceedings concerning one of the former leaders of the public security Department of the MIA of Ukraine (currently serving in leadership positions in the National guard of Ukraine)”, – stated in the message.
According to the source “Ukrainian truth”, we are talking about Vladimir Hrinak, who is now the chief of the National guard.
He is accused, in particular, obstruction of rallies with the use of physical violence, abuse of power and the organization of such excess by police officers, injuring more than 300 people.
Among the 16 articles of the indictment – the organization of a premeditated murder of two and more persons, the organization of causing grievous bodily harm.
In addition, the investigation claims that Hrinak repeatedly over the protests gave “Berkut” for informal payments.
Also in GPU note that Hrinak has been charged with “committing other crimes in the period January-February 2014 and, in particular, during the violent dispersal 18.02.2014 moves “Peace offensive to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine concerning introduction of the constitutional amendments” and the storming of the Maidan under the guise of anti-terrorist operation”.
“In the implementation of the pre-trial investigation in court have been made for the removal of the suspect from the post, which is denied, the appeal is left without satisfaction”, – reported in Prosecutor’s office.
In addition, the office noted that it requested the arrest of Hrinak, but the court released him on personal recognizance.
