The Minister of social policy Andrei Reva says that on a permanent basis abroad employed more than 3.2 million citizens of Ukraine.
He said this at the launching ceremony of the project on improving governance of the labour market in Kiev, on Tuesday, July 3, Interfax-Ukraine.
“Permanently working abroad for more than 3.2 million Ukrainian citizens,” said Reva.
He also noted that labour migration currently is seasonal in nature.
“In this process, according to our estimates, participates to 9 million Ukrainian citizens”, – said the Minister.
According to him, at the moment one of the urgent problems of the labour market is the level of youth unemployment and the inability of employment of large numbers of internally displaced persons.
In addition, problems are also a big shadow employment and the imbalance between supply and demand for skilled labor.
