The head of the faction “Block of Petro Poroshenko” Arthur Gerasimov said that the issue of establishing an anti-corruption court is not included in the area of responsibility of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
He said this to journalists after the conciliatory Council on Monday.
“When we talk about cooperation and coordination with our international partners, each has its own sphere of responsibility,” – said the head of the faction.
According to him, President Petro Poroshenko submitted a draft law establishing an anti-corruption court in the Verkhovna Rada, and the Parliament has already adopted its first reading and the responsibility of the MPs is to complete the anti-corruption reform.
“The responsibility of the Cabinet of Ministers, as I understand it, it is a question of tariffs, which are now being discussed between the international partners and the government,” – said Gerasimov.
“My own opinion is that everyone should be responsible for their own, as they say, a sphere. And each should bear the responsibility for the failure of the arrangements in their area,” he added.
The politician said that on Thursday the Parliament will vote a bill to create an anti-corruption court, since it was his task, and wished the Cabinet of Ministers to successfully conclude negotiations with the International monetary Fund, which is its objective.
