The third President of Georgia and former Governor of the Odessa region Mikhail Saakashvili announced his intention to return to politics
Saakashvili congratulated the residents of Adjara with the anniversary of the revolution. However, he promised to return to Georgia and complete the “feudal rule” in the country.

Saakashvili noted that may 6 is an important date not only for Ajara but for the whole of Georgia. According to him, the events that happened 14 years ago, was an important step towards the unification of the country.
“6 may 2004 in Ajara ended feudal rule ended separatist actions and were made the most important step towards the unification of Georgia. It all made themselves ajarians, it all did the usual, but very special people, and I am infinitely grateful to you. This is your holiday and celebration of all Georgia,” – said the politician.
Saakashvili also recalled the projects that have begun to implement in Adjara during his presidency, but stopped after 2012, came to power the coalition “Georgian dream”.
For example, ex-President of Georgia recalled the American technological University in Batumi, which, according to Saakashvili, “would be the best higher educational institution in Eastern Europe”. In addition, he mentioned a project for the construction of housing for socially vulnerable persons.
“We’re in this together. We will end the feudal rule in Tbilisi, completed it in Adjara. We will return Georgia to the path of development, we will put an end to the reign of usury, we get the people out of need, we will also refund the pace of tourism development”, – concluded Saakashvili.
