Saakashvili has compared himself to Hetman: Mazepa, I can not be

 

The leader of the party “movement novih forces” and the former President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili has told, what historical person associates himself in Ukraine.

As the politician said in one of his interviews, he could be the Pylyp Orlyk, the author of the first Constitution of Ukraine.

“In Ukraine there were many interesting pieces, for me, a very interesting figure of Mazepa, because he was a man who wanted to modernize Ukraine, but failed for many reasons… No, I can’t be Mazepa. Ukrainians have their Mazeppa enough. I can be Orlyk, for example, the Czech, who wrote the Ukrainian Constitution and who was the last Hetman of Ukraine”, – Saakashvili said.

The politician also added that whom Ukrainians consider to be the best leader in their history: “When Ukrainians ask who their best leader was, you know, about whom you answer? Franz Joseph, Emperor of Austria-Hungary”.

As previously reported, on the night of 6 February expired the validity of a measure of restraint in the form of a night of house arrest and restrictions on the outskirts of Kiev, which was selected for Saakashvili. This was reported by the lawyer Saakashvili Ruslan Chernolutsky.
