The draft Election code of Ukraine, which provides for voting on open lists, and were adopted in the first reading, has received a record number of amendments – 4200.
This was stated by the head of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy during a conciliation Board.
Before that, the MP from the faction “Opposition bloc” Yuriy Boyko said, where is now the election bill and when he appears before Parliament in the second reading.
“He is now before the Committee. He received a record number of amendments – more than 4,200”, – said Parubiy.
The head of BP noted that once all edits are agreed, the draft law will be submitted to a vote at second reading.
