In the agenda of the Verkhovna Rada included the draft law want to allow the security service without a court order to block sites.
This is stated in bill No. 6688 on the Parliament website.
The authors of the people’s deputies of Committee of national security and defence Ivan Vinnik (PPB), Dmitry Tymchuk and Tatiana Chornovil (both NF) proposes to amend certain acts with the aim of “countering threats to national security in the information sphere”.
In the case of a law such threats will consider the impact of the actions of the authorities and refer them to the category of “technological terrorism“.
“The exercise of influence on decision making or making or actions of state authorities or local self-government bodies, officials of these bodies, associations of citizens, legal entities”, – stated in the explanatory note to the project.
In particular, the security Service of Ukraine want to give the right to block access to any information resource not only on the court, but on the basis of the decision of the Prosecutor, investigator or the Council of national security and defense.
The legislative initiative was outraged by the first Deputy Chairman of the Committee of freedom of speech and information policy Olga Chervakova.
She wrote on Facebook that the example of such threats that has to fight this bill, is “any public or private control picket”.
Cermakova has also shown some political forces and in what proportion voted for the introduction of legislative initiative in the agenda of the Verkhovna Rada.
“A new attack on freedom of speech!” – so reacted to a bill the Chairman of the National Union of journalists of Ukraine Sergey Tomilenko.
“No trial, no lawyers, no investigative activities in the offices of the Ukrainians will be deprived of access to the “not so” sites” – resents it.
The Chairman of NSZHU called the bill a “dictatorial”.
