Airline “Ukraine International airlines” in the next five years intends to open a number of new directions.
About this informed the head of the Supervisory Council Aron Mayberg at a press conference in Kiev on Thursday, transfers “Interfax-Ukraine”.
So, in 2018, the company intends to open flights from Kiev to Vinnitsa, Copenhagen, Cairo, Delhi, Toronto, Sanya; in 2019 – in Nikolaev, Hamburg, Lisbon, Naples, Oslo, Gomel, Ashgabat, Tashkent, Izmir, Shanghai; in 2020, in Uzhgorod, Dublin, Manchester, Bologna, Gdansk, Bishkek, Kuwait, Miami and Guangzhou; in 2021-m – in Zagreb, Varna, Tallinn, Seoul; 2022 – in Belgrade, Bratislava, Beirut, Shiraz, Addis Ababa, Chicago.
Airline “International airlines of Ukraine” was founded in 1992. Connects Ukraine with more than 80 cities and key locations in Europe, Asia, America, Africa, Middle East and CIS countries and provides connections with routes of partner airlines in more than 3 thousand cities in the world.
UIA operates over 1100 scheduled flights a week.
Currently part of UIA fleet includes 43 aircraft of different modifications, including 27 medium-haul Boeing-737 NG.
100% of shares are in private ownership, one of its ultimate beneficiaries is a businessman Igor Kolomoisky.
