The heating season in the capital will be completed, when for three days the daily average temperature will not fall below 8°C.
This was stated by the mayor of Kiev Vitali Klitschko, reports the website of the city government.
“We see what a long winter this year – all March quite cold, much snow fell. As soon as the temperature rise, we will definitely talk about the end of the heating season”, – said Klitschko.
“We can stop the flow of heat when within three days the average temperature is kept below +8°C” – added the mayor.
Klitschko explained that condominiums and houses which have particular boiler, with the termination of heat supply are determined independently subject to the consent of all tenants.
