“In 2017, Kiev was visited by more than 2.5 million “internal tourists”, that is, citizens who came from other regions of the country. This year this figure will be higher by 25-30%. This growth will come at the expense of the Kiev events, event tourism, from the world, for example, the last Champions League final, to the local, in particular, festivals and concerts of famous artists. Also increasing the number of tourists has a positive effect on the expansion of the tourist offer of Kiev on the weekend. Increasingly, we can see guests from other cities for the weekend”, he said.
