GPU has opened case on the head of the Fiscal service


The General Prosecutor’s office opened criminal proceedings against the acting State fiscal service Miroslav Sold.

On Monday, July 16, said Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko.

“Somewhere in the beginning of this year we received information about possible violations of Mr. Sold, which are not related to his previous position at Vinnytsia customs, as they relate to its current activities,” – said Lutsenko.

“Available to me materials enough to be convinced of the existence of gross violations of Mr. Sold at the office of the acting Chairman of the SFS. If the investigation will lay the necessary evidence, the case will be sent for investigation to the body that will implement it. At the moment the investigation is underway”, – said the Prosecutor General.

He also said that the GPU does not rule out lobbying in the appointment of leadership in the state on the part of one of the gang that was involved in systematic smuggling nuts in Vinnytsia region.

“In January this year, the General Prosecutor of Ukraine through our investigative unit has registered criminal proceedings regarding the possible smuggling nuts in Vinnytsia customs,” – said Lutsenko.

According to him, today it was announced about suspicion to the head of the Vinnytsia GFS in the creation of a criminal organization, complicity in tax evasion, abuse of power.

According to the findings of the examination, Lutsenko noted, was omitted goods and not entered in the budget of about 300 million UAH.

“We believe that in 2014 on the territory of Vinnitsa was created by the criminal group, composed of executives who have strong connections with the leaders of Central institutions in the capital, and in 2015-2016 this organization ensured the appointment to important positions in the SFS of the people connected with illegal activities of Vinnytsia customs,” – said Lutsenko.

He added that the investigation will last several months.
