Gennady Zubko dissatisfied with the preparations for winter: Ukraine is behind schedule

In Ukraine there is a lag from the schedule of preparation for the heating season.

This was stated by Vice Prime Minister – Minister of regional development, construction, housing and utilities Gennady Zubko, reports UKRINFORM on Wednesday, July 25.

“The figures that we have today, yet do not impress me, it is behind schedule”, – said Zubko on the preparations for the coming winter during a conference call.

He stressed that until the end of July, a similar gap should be reduced.

In addition, Zubco said that still remains the debt of local authorities for gas and electricity. So, according to him, in comparison with the beginning of June the level of payments for gas increased by 4%, but remains “critical”.

In connection with such debt, the Vice Prime Minister expressed confidence that the winter will be “difficult”.

In turn, Deputy Minister of regional development, construction and housing Edward the Logs reported that the technical training of housing for the heating season were 51.8% of houses and among the social institutions – 51,5%.

At the same time he added that of the 1.9 billion provided for the preparation of housing for the winter, funded by 42.7 per cent.
