Defense Ministry: Ukraine and NATO have agreed on a common roadmap

 

At the meeting of the joint working group Ukraine – NATO on military-technical cooperation, the parties summed up the results of cooperation in the military-technical sphere and agreed on further steps.

As the representative of the Ukrainian delegation, Deputy Minister of defense of Ukraine Igor Pavlovsky, special attention was paid to the issue of technical compatibility of the Armed forces of Ukraine and divisions of the NATO countries.

The parties also discussed and approved the updated road map for NATO – Ukraine defence-technical cooperation.

The Ukrainian side demonstrated to foreign partners the achievements of enterprises of the military-industrial complex, including innovations in the field of automated systems of command and control, telecommunication devices and aircraft.

As noted by the assistant Secretary of NATO for defense investment, Camille Grand, Ukraine coped well with the implementation of measures military-technical cooperation within the framework of an integrated package of assistance. He also praised the reform of the implementation of technical standards in the field of defence and implementation of NATO trust funds.
